2 small slices of whole grain toast
1/2 large avocado, Hass variety
1 tbsp cream cheese, 17% fat content
some lemon juice
salt, pepper
  • Halve your avocado and remove the flesh from the peel. Cut one half into fine, thin strips.
  • Lightly toast the wholegrain bread and spread with cream cheese.
  • Carefully place the avocado on the toast and sprinkle with some lemon juice.
  • Now season with pepper and salt.
  • Enjoy!


If you prefer something richer, serve an additional boiled egg cut into slices. Garnish the avocado toast with some watercress and extra chilli flakes for a fresh kick in the morning!
